This week we have been kicked out of The Treehouse, so we are meeting at Rotary Plaza instead. It looks like the predicted rain will stop in the early morning hours but it may be windy, so bring a jacket! Our speaker this week is a K-9 team from the Clay County Sherriff's office so the outdoor location will be perfect.
April is also the month for the Environment so it is appropriate for us to start the month at the Plaza!
Remember that we have a work day scheduled this Saturday at Rotary Plaza to clean the inside of the Pavilion. Sign up to assist! Our regular Mulch day at the Plaza is scheduled for April 12th and you can sign up here to assist with mulching.
Next week is our committee workday and we need all members to attend as we are in the final stages of working on Butt Buster '25 and need input from all to make this the BEST event ever!

Shoes for Orphan Souls Update: Our "New" shoe collection will continue through April. Bring your shoe collection to our meetings or you can make arrangements with Kimbal to deliver them to directly to Vocational Services Inc. Staff at VSI are assisting us with packing and storing our shoes again this year and we are very thankful! If you don't want to shop, donate some funding and our "professional shoe shoppers" will gladly spend it for you!
Rotary Plaza: Work Day #1
Mark and Nathan pulled the yew bushes out in about 15 minutes! Nathan is from NKC Rotary Club.
The work went quicker than last time thanks to the BIG truck from Life Unlimited.
Only two attended our April Fools day event, Steve & myself, it was windy, cold and sprinkling rain!
Work Day at Rotary Plaza: We are have two more spring work days scheduled at Rotary Plaza this year.
1) April 5th - at 9am we will be doing a "deep" clean of the cabinets and floor. We need about 5 people.
3) April 12th - at 9am we will be doing our traditional "Mulch" day Garden cleanup. Our garden team, Town & Garden Country Club, will be there to guide our pitch forks! Click on the dump truck to sign up.
