Wendy Coffey is our 2016-17 Sam Chapman Rotarian of the Year
Wendy had been a Liberty resident for nearly 25 years and grew up around the Northland.  Her parents instilled in her the importance of serving others.  She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with an undergraduate degree in marketing and a MBA in finance.  She put her education to work with Cerner right out of grad school.   She is the Church Administrator at Liberty United Methodist Church.   She also enjoys camping and spending time with family, which includes her husband Ryan of the past 27 years, and two boys, Nick (20) and Reece (17).   This summer she started playing in a pickleball league with her friend and is navigating the waters of becoming an empty nester!  Wendy loves being a part of Liberty Rotary, especially the Rotary Youth Exchange, and can’t wait to become more involved this year as President Elect!  Wendy has fully embraced Rotary at both the Club and District level, attending all district events in the past year.  She made a huge impact on Mathilde Rousseau's (France) time here over the past year as her Youth Exchange counselor.
