Clay County 250 - '250 Citizens Challenge'

The 250 Citizen Challenge is Clay County’s civic-engagement program for the 250th anniversary of the United States. Open to all ages – including students – it encourages participants to complete simple civic tasks that earn points toward receiving challenge coins and public recognition.

This is more than a history project. It is an invitation to turn patriotism into action. By reading founding documents, attending meetings, writing to officials, or thanking public servants, participants take small but meaningful steps toward becoming stronger, more active citizens.
