Work Day District Grant at Rotary Plaza

Event Update:   The Dig Rite people have marked all the lines except the gas line which is sort of important!   The other complication is the weather. Weather predictions for Sunday has the temperature dropping into the teens which is too cold for Quikrete to set properly.  So tomorrow, Saturday March 14th, we will skip digging and only move boxes of items across the street to the Plaza at 9:30am.  Plan to do the 'sweat equity at a later date.

Time to start the 'sweat equity' part of our District Grant for this year!    Goals for today:  remove the tree where we will be putting the Peace Pole (west side of Plaza between the patio and driveway),  planting the Dog Station, plant the Tardis (Free Little Library).

The Weather is predicted to be partly sunny with a temperature of 70 degrees and the water has been turned back on in the Pavillion, so it should be a great day to get a little 'sweaty.'
