Are you wondering about becoming a Rotarian? It's often said that nobody joins Rotary. Instead, a person with high ethical standards and a desire to help others becomes a Rotarian. The following information will help you understand more about how you could become a Rotarian.

Membership of Rotary is by invitation.
Your contribution to the community as well as your good standing in your line of business or your profession would lead a Rotarian to identify you as a prospective Rotarian.
You would be asked if you might be interested in becoming a member You would be invited to attend two club meetings to learn something about the organization, to meet members of the club and to be introduced to them.
At this stage, the member who invited you to the meetings will offer to meet with you to explain more fully the benefits and obligations of being a Rotarian.
If you still feel Rotary is for you, then your host for the past two meetings will offer to sponsor you into the club.
You will need to fill out a registration form. Your host will then inform the club's board of directors that he or she is willing to sponsor you for admission to the club. The new member proposal will be advertized in the club bulletin for a week. If no objections to your being admitted to the club are received, you will be invited to the family of Rotary!
