Below is Terry Snapp's bio. Terry was Tuesday's 9-9-14 Program:

Terry Snapp, the community's shepherd for the Stone Church charitable evening dinner program supported by our Rotary club, brings to us an overview of that expanding project.

Terry spent nearly forty years in the nonprofit sector in Independence and the greater KC area, working for a variety of nonprofit agencies and institutions that include the Independence Neighborhood Councils, SHARE, Park University and the Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation. In addition to providing guidance in a range of roles, much of his work was in providing leadership for raising funds for large capital campaigns.

Presently Terry works part time in consulting with the Hartsook Companies —where his son Matt serves as the CEO and President. Terry Snapp currently is completing a fifth year as Pastor of the Stone Church Community of Christ.  With his wife, Betty (Founder of Sunshine Center) he serves in various roles in support of the Community Services League.

His son, Matt Beem and his wife Kate, provided the couple with three outstanding grandchildren, Joe, Maggie and Tom.
