Tuesday's Rotary Speaker was our very own: Pam Fulmer

Pam Fulmer of Fulmer Consulting is a native of Eastern Jackson County, and many years ago received a certificate in Radiologic Technology from this very building where the Independence Rotary Club meets—the former Independence Sanitarium and Hospital.

Ms. Fulmer has followed cutting-edge technology in the field of mammography where the research and development occurs, partnering with companies such as Hologic, Agfa, Kodak and Carestream Health.  She had a direct role in bringing mammography technology into the digital world that we see today.

Today Ms. Fulmer leads a consulting mammography education company, the Fulmer Consulting Group.  She is sought after for her mammography seminars that she conducts internationally and is a trainer for the American College of Radiology with a mission to improve company workflow and positioning.

Ms. Fulmer is a past president for the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technologists and is currently a Delegate for the House of Delegates in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

In avocations she is a volunteer with the Independence Tourism Department and serves on the board of directors for the Vaile Mansion.
