Jonathan Zerr

“President Zerr has been a member of the Rotary Club of Independ-ence since 2004. He was inspired and sponsored by Allen Garner and former club member, Joe Willerth. He has actively served as Board member, Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer, Vice-President, President-elect and now President for 2015-16. He graduated from Truman High School, William Jewell College and Drake University Law School. Since then, he worked for the King Hershey law firm out of law school. But left in 2003 to join the Kapke & Willerth law firm, where he remains. He is married to Kris and has two (2) teenage girls, Kaitlyn and Jillian that are quickly aging him. Presi-dent Zerr will be providing us with an overview of the 2015 Rotary International Conference held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, including input on potential Fellowships and service projects for our club. He will provide an overview of the goals laid out by Rotary International and update the club on efforts for the eradication of polio through-out the world.”
