On May 22nd, Rotary Park in Independence was rededicated after a playground update. Rotarians Nancy Eppert with husband John, Past President Bennie Eubanks and Paulette Eubanks joined Rotary Past President and City Manager Zach Walker as he assisted Mayor Rowland in theribbon cutting. The park originally opened in the late 1990’s thanks to a significant contribution from the Rotary Club of Independence. A prominent new Rotary sign will hopefully be added soon. #serviceaboveself
