The Rotary Club is pleased to announce that they are partnering with the Sherwood Park Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). A five thousand ($5,000) dollar donation was made to sponsor a bed build in Fort Saskatchewan on October 23rd.
“The club was approached by SHP just prior to the pandemic starting in March 2020.However when everything closed down we could not move forward.Now that bed building can take place again we approached SHP and established a relationship which will result in a bed build this fall” stated Lauren Zumbusch committee chair.“Details are being worked out for the build and a team from the Rotary Club will be participating in SHP’s next build on August 21 in Sherwood Park to learn all the ins and outs”.
