Our first Open House is scheduled to take place on Thursday January 31st at 7.00 pm.  This event will replace our regular Wednesday meeting for January 30th, and is part of our recruitment drive for new members.  Spouses are encouraged to attend the Open House, where hors d'oeuvres will be served.  Read on for further information...

Our club has recently held two classification surveys and come up with approximately 50 proposed new members.  Most of these have already been pre-approved by our Executive and the Club Members, with the final list approved by the Executive and distributed to the club Members for their approval asap.

A written invitation will be sent to all proposed new members, and will be followed up by a phone call from one of the executive members.  Bruce Christianson and Dean Anderson are both booked to give short talks about Rotary and International Projects.  All proposed members will be given an information pack prior to leaving the meeting, which will contain two "Be My Guest" Cards, inviting them to attend one of our breakfast meetings.  For the following two or three breakfast meetings we will have some high quality guest speakers booked, and the new City Manager is one guest speaker who has been proposed (but not yet approached).

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for the Open House please email one of the Executive, as the club's input is encouraged for this event.
