Once again, we are setting up a friendly fundraiser between our 3 local Rotary Clubs. In order to participate, you must be part of a team of 5 participants, at least one Rotarian as Captain of the team. Every team needs their own “team name”. Feel free to use your previous team names, as there were a lot of good ones these past several years! Each participant will donate a $20 entry fee (100% of this money goes directly towards the Rotary End Polio Now campaign), and each participant brings one bottle of wine (worth a minimum of $20). Please adhere to the minimum of $20 wine purchase – as these may become your team’s prizes. The money and bottles of wine can be submitted, along with each team’s registration form, to Ideal Office Solutions 10611 – 100 Avenue. The team’s registration form will provide the contact information of each Rotary Team captain, so that daily updates can be sent out to them to forward onto other team members, in order to keep everyone on your team engaged in the fun. Each person’s name is entered into the draw (with the team name attached). You win the draw as a team, if any member of your team is one of the last names drawn – your entire team will split that prize. (Enter one team, and you have 5 chances to win!)
Once all entries have been received, prize totals will be calculated and announced. During elimination week, 1/5 of all entries will be eliminated each day. Participants will be informed (via Rotary Team Captain’s contact info) of those who have been eliminated each day via email, and how many participants remain on your team. Once all 5 participants have been eliminated from your team, your team is no longer in the draw. On the final afternoon, Friday October 23, 2026, the final draw will be done and the winning teams will be announced. Winnings can be collected by Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Ideal Office Solutions, or by special arrangement. Prize levels will be determined by the number of entries received. This year I will be rounding up to be divisible by 5. Approximate prize rewards are in the following region:
As more teams are added, new prize levels will be made available. We will not hold a spot for a team, if we have not received their registration info, entry fee and bottles of wine. |
