Team 5 (Marge Beck as leader) hosted and the Blood Drive was held.

 

ANNOUCEMENTS:   Jim Salini is an inpatient at Northern California Rehab Hospital after a fall through his metal shed.  Call for visitation availability.

 

Reminder about Oct 20th event at Cascade Theater, hosted by North State 8, Rotary.  International President Cliff Dochterman will speak.

 

Community Builder: Lynn Fritz, MA, LCSW – presented by Marge Beck

 

RECOGNITIONS:

·         Curtis Newcomb: Tinman Triathlon & 2 weeks with wife in Tuscany

·         Jim Westerburg: Jim cancelling Team 4 social at CR Gibbs, notifying everyone except our RER President, who was alone except for Stella (Artois, that is).  Allyn also shared her suspicions about Jim’s involvement with the bell’s disappearance.

·         On that note, Michelle Nystrom was recognized for O2 Staffing’s half-page article w/o RER being mentioned – and the fact that upon magnification by Allyn, O2 Staffing’s business logo could be seen in a photo of the bell posted on Facebook.

·         Pat Beasley: trip to British Columbia (although a large percentage of the trip’s duration was burning diesel to/fro)

·         Jim Murphy: 4 weeks in Montana
