The Student of the Month for Liberty Christian was Steele Roberts, a sophomore athlete who plays basketball and golf and is the son of the “other” Steve Roberts.  His teacher said that he rises above every challenge and is a shining start.

Cyndy Gordon gave her Craft Talk.  She was born in Kansas and moved to California at age 5.  Her life motto is (forgive me if I didn’t get this just right) “Make a meaningful difference in the people and places I meet.”  She learned from her Grandfather, who despite not having much himself, he brought home needy people every Sunday for dinner.  Growing up she loved horses and just riding away for the day. She was in 4H, a cheerleader and a cross country skier.  She graduated from Anderson High School.  She went on to Shasta College to become a nurse and got her bachelors and masters degrees and is now the CEO of Shasta Regional Medical Center. She has been married for 37 years and has two kids and a grandchild.
