A message from our President.......
Fantasy Fountain is almost finished and down to one of the last components, which is the creation of the children's art mural on the water spray park's surface. Jerry Peters and Pat Wallner have both invest a lot of their time and resources on the project (thank you Jerry and Pat) and it is now time for us as a club to provide our help.
First, they need us to volunteer for 4-hour shifts during the community painting days, which are scheduled from Friday, Oct 19 through Saturday Nov 3rd. They specifically need our help on 10/23, 10/24, 10/26, 10/29, 10/30, 10/31, 11/1 and 11/2. During these 4-hour shifts, we’ll be helping families get their paints and paintbrushes, show them their lily pad or koi they’ll be painting and help paint waves and other art elements. Second, there are 450 art elements still available for families to paint and write their children's/grandchildren’s name on it. This is a great family project and a fun way to put your families “stamp” on the new Fantasy Fountain. For more information, visit: www.redding.com/fantasyfountain.
