Our guest speaker on Feb. 22 was long time Fort McMurray resident, business owner and author, Mrs. Frances Jean. She joined us to introduce her latest book, More Than Oil: Trappers, Traders and Settlers of Northern Alberta. Her new book is a fascinating history of the development of Fort McMurray through memories, stories and anecdotes. Seen here is Mrs. Jean with her son Brian Jean, MP for Fort McMurray - Athabasca.
