Yurok Nation Playground Project
Every year the Foster City Rotary Club, in partnership with 20 members of the San Mateo HS Interact Club, travels to the Yurok Native American Reservation around the Klamath River near the Oregon border. In early April, around the Easter and Passover break, used playground equipment from neighborhoods in and around our city is dismantled and then reassembled in places the Yurok people choose to enhance their neighborhoods.
