Thanksgiving at Boyle Street Community Services

Thanks to the volunteers who registered yesterday. We now have enough volunteers:)

I am still looking for 4 more people to come and volunteer at Boyle Street Community Services for Thanksgiving. I know this is time you spend with your families, but this is a very special event for our club. If you can't stay for the whole event, consider coming for part of it. Either just to package the meals from 9:30 to 11:30 am, or to hand out the meals at 12:00 pm.

Date: Monday October 10
Time: Preparation: 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
           Serving: 12:00 to 1:30 pm
Where: 10116 - 105 Avenue
Number of Volunteers: 7 to 10

There won't be a sit down meal and so we will be individually packaging the food provided by NAIT's culinary department, which will be delivered in large warmers. The food packages, along with various donations will be handed out outside of our centre, starting at about 1130 am. They are prepped for serving 350 meals.

Each volunteer will need to show proof of Covid Vaccination and sign a waiver on site.

Parking instructions will be sent prior to the event.
