Our Zoom speaker, Michael Wernick, had a long and distinguished career as a public servant in the Canadian federal government. He was Clerk of the Privy Council from 2016 to 2019 and worked closely with three Prime Ministers and their Cabinets, as well as four ministers as their deputy. He lives in and will be speaking to us from Ottawa.

Mr. Wernick recently published Governing Canada: A Guide to the Tradecraft of Politics (On Point Press 2021).
