Highway Clean-Up

The Rotary Club of Edmonton West is now part of the Adopt-a-Highway program. We have adopted a 3 kilometre section of Highway 16 Eastbound from the Devon turnoff (Hwy 60) to 231 Street. We have signed an agreement with the Federal Government and the Queen to pick up litter a minimum of once per year.

Our first Highway Clean Up will be on Saturday September 8th. We will meet for breakfast at the A&W - 26230 Township Rd 531A, Acheson, AB T7X 5A4 at 8:30 am. From there we will pick up garbage on our little piece of Highway. There will be bags and picker uppers provided.
