An Evening at Wellspring

Our club is a proud sponsor of Wellspring Edmonton. They are a community-based support centre offering non-medical supportive programs and services that meet the emotional, social, practical and restorative needs of people living with cancer and those who care for them. All programs, services & resources are offered free of charge and without a referral.
I have arranged for us to spend an evening at their facility where we can enjoy light refreshments, learn more about their programs, and have a tour. We will also have an opportunity to paint a 'touchstone'.
Beautiful river stones are painted with a word or image sending messages of hope and encouragement to self and to others. Wellspring Edmonton and the Cross Cancer Institute Patient and Family Resource Center have collaborated on an installation of panels in their Healing Garden. Some of these touchstones will be shared with patients at the Cross Cancer Institute as well as our Wellspring Edmonton members.
The evening will be open to all members, family and friends. Please join us for a lovely evening.
