Greeting Breakfast Club!  Teacher of the Year is right around the corner.  October 7, 2015 at the Hilton on Prospect (NEW LOCATION!)

We need to get an accurate head count to the 1918 Club by October 4th.  Please use this event page to register for the celebration.

A few changes for this year, such as the location.  Second, we will be recognizing and honoring all 3 teachers equally. The event will include hearing from all 3 teachers and awarding them with a trophy and $250 to use in the classroom.

Our 1st selection could not accept our nomination, so our Teacher nomination is now Robert Montoya of Centennial High School.  Mr. Montoya teaches American History.  His Principle, Mike Robert states, "Robert has a well-defined craft that enables him to present the intricacies of our historical documents in unbiased presentations, with a keen sense of the value in helping high school students understand the concepts of American history, while creating a fun, engaging classroom that keeps a high bar for work output and understanding.  He places heavy weight on personal integrity in his professional work, and he is always ready for the pace of a classroom.  Robert gives generously of his time for events at school such as cooking breakfast, extended EWeek opportunities, and will grab a broom when he sees the need."   Join the Vocational Services Committee in celebrating this individual who practices our Rotary values every day.

I am looking for some volunteers to assist with the event as well.  we will need the following

2 greeters, and 1 acting Secretary ( if Tom is unavailable)

2 table hosts to sit with the Teacher and his guests

Please let me know if you are interested in acting as a host or greeter.  Again, please register for this event so that we can get a good head count.  The Club pays for the meals based on our Club size, not your attendance, so your participation counts!

Many thanks,  YIR  ~ Nat
