The Rotary Club of Edmonton Urban Spirits is up to something new, which we hope will be the start of a great new tradition:

Our Club is awarding a prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award, on behalf of the Rotary Foundation, in the name of an individual who has made a difference in the lives of children and/or youth. Additionally, we will donate an amount of funding, as determined by the Club’s Board, to a charitable organization chosen by the award recipient.
We are open for nominations! Are you part of an organization that has made presentations to our Club, has made funding requests to our Club and/or has been funded by our Club? Are you part of an organization who is making a difference in the community, whether local or global, especially in the lives of children and/or youth and want to nominate someone from your clients, staff, volunteers or other stakeholders?

HOW TO NOMINATE A CANDIDATE
- All organizations that have made presentations to the Club about their organization, have made funding requests to the Club or have been funded by the Club and any other organizations approved by the Club are eligible to submit Leadership Award nominations.
- Each organization may nominate up to three individuals.
- Nominators must the form provided below to explain why their nominee(s) deserves this award. Additional supporting material is not required.
- The deadline for nominations is March 5, 2021.
WHO CAN YOU NOMINATE?
The nominee must:
- have performed continuing humanitarian service in any form that has made a difference in the lives of children and/or youth; and,
- have a lifestyle that is consistent with the Rotary four-way test
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The deadline for nominations is March 5th, 2021. Nominations for the 2021 Leadership Award are now closed.
The winner of this year’s Leadership Award will be announced by early April 2021.
