It was great having MWSU Coach Sundance Wicks join us at Rotary this week. His C.E.O (Chief Energy Officer) attitude was both uplifting and refreshing. He has a great message for his team and we hope to see him around our community. Thank you to Jean and Pam for greeting and Doug for the invocation. Alan did a great job questioning us about Labor Day Trivia and we raised a good amount this week for the foundations. Guests were Chad from Andrew County and Brian (soon to be member). Chad explained the District Food challenge this week-we will see if we can schedule a time to volunteer at Second Harvest soon.
Next week is the kickoff for Play for Polio-Our own Tim and Louie will be our program-they always provide us with a great reminder why this platform is so important. It is also 9-11, so a day of reflection for us all-we will have a special thank you project that day too-hope to see you there.
