It was great to hear Rotarian Joan Hickman talk about her trip to Guatemala to distribute all the shoes collected for District 6040. She presented great information about the area they were in, the centers where they met the children, and all the hard work it took daily to make sure all of the received shoes. Not only did Joan go, but her husband and one of her grandsons went so it was a family trip. We appreciate Joan being the inspiration of what a Rotarian does to serve others.
