Sea Scouts Facilities
You may recall that we approved $1,100 for the purchase of twin ovens, hotplates, and extractor fan for the Sea Scouts hall on Albert Park Lake. Herewith is a photo of the newly installed appliances.
The Sea Scouts are very thankful for this donation because it equips them to cater for other Scout groups (or cubs, etc) to reside in their premises for weekends and special events, and cater for them. Formerly this was a huge problem and the wonderful room on top of their boathouse overlooking Albert Park Lake, was barely utilised.
This donation was in addition to the working bee we participated in last year to fully paint out their boat shed, see (here)
