The guest speaker at today's luncheon was Jacquie Fenske, managing partner in her family’s business, Fifendekel. She also dabbles in community building through Experience Alberta - a company that creates and helps others create rural tourism experiences and ThreeSixty Alberta, a video company that focuses on rural content from topics such as rural homelessness to good news community stories.
Jacquie shared the story of Fifendekel, a family business that is celebrating its 40th year of business in Edmonton. No small feat in the restaurant business these days let alone a family business. Where did the idea come from? What is Fifendekel, including how it got its name , how it evolved and what’s in store for the future.
Her presentation was titled - "Activating the Yeast"
Thank you Jacquie for "Rising to the Occassion"
