Valentine's Day Luncheon

Executive Chef Ian Thompson from the Derrick Club put on a special demonstration on 'How to Make Creme Brullee" at our Valentine's Day Luncheon. The Guys really carried the "Torch" on this meeting – Chef Ian invited them to participate with the caramelization of the final step and serving the sweets to their sweeties! The dessert turned out fantastic and Chef Ian revealed his true love of pastries and desserts as a chef.

A big thank you to Bill Pechtel for arranging our luncheon and guest speaker. And to Ivan Radostits for hosting the wine for the meeting in celebration of our special guests.

We also celebrated 4 birthdays at the meeting, Graham McLean's birthday was earlier in the week and Ivan, Henk and Brodie all share Feb 14th as their special day!
