Support to High Schools

Each year the Riverview Club funds two scholarships of $1,000 each to Eastglen Grade 12 students that have financial needs and will be attending post-secondary studies. The scholarship is in honor of Chito Chanawa, who did volunteer work in Africa sponsored by Rotary and passed away at a young age many years ago.

 

Riverview Rotary is also a proud supporter of the Ross Shepherd High School Centennial Interact Club. We chartered this Interact Club in 2005 and provide annual financial support and mentorship to the club.  We are often have Interact club members assist in Riverview Rotary volunteer activities. We also sponsor Centennial Interact Club members to attend the Rotary District Conference and other Youth Conferences for the zone.
