The Riverview Rotary Club has a long history of both local and international service projects serving those most in need.

Local projects are coordinated from two club committees: the Community Services Committee and Youth Services Committee. The Community Services Committee focuses on youth at risk and low income seniors. The objective of Youth Services Committee projects is to offer opportunities for youth and young adults to expand their experiences, to broaden their knowledge and give them confidence.  Read more about specific Community Services and Youth Services projects in their respective links.

Riverview had carried out international projects primarily in Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Belize and Ecuador. Projects have taken many forms: the transfer of supplies and equipment to communities in need (ambulances, fire trucks, medical microscopes to Belize and Ecuador); skills training to improve the livelihoods of poor communities (providing sewing machines and teaching sewing to create economic opportunities in Belize); providing major medical care to those without public health services (hip replace and cataract surgery and vision care in Ecuador); and scholarships to improve the care of mountain gorillas in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  Read more about specific International Services projects in their respective links.
