At the June 17th meeting, after a year-end update from each director, our guest, Ramesh Neupane from the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Metro, Nepal, gave us an update on his club. His club, with 36 members, has undertaken an amazing array of projects to help the poorer people of his country. Over the past decade, they have undertaken numerous large (meaning RI Global Grant) projects. Water projects, bio-gas projects (to provide free methane gas for cooking), wheelchairs to those with disabilities, winter clothing for seniors and infants. The list goes on. Very impressive! Congratulations Ramesh on all you and your club (and your partners) have achieved.
At the end of the meeting Past DG Brent Collingwood and Ramesh did a Club flag exchange.
