The Stanley Milner Library has now made our Rotary club THE preferred recipient of their excess inventory of books.
This month we picked up 14 sizable boxes of children books. Our total haul in the last two years have been 144 boxes of books.
These donated books are taken to the Emmanuel Foundation to be distributed with playgrounds to Asia, Africa, India, and Central America.
Books are heavy. It’s an interesting way of keeping in shape and a little easier than triathlons (*teehee).
