Global Grant Scholar is well underway!

Hi Dean!

My year as a Global Grant Scholar is well underway, and I just wanted to reach out to each of my sponsoring clubs to again express my incredible gratitude for their support in making this incredible experience a reality. You, in particular, were an invaluable resource and support. These past two months in London have been nothing short of amazing, and this wouldn't have been possible without the support of Rotary, District 5370, and the Rotary Club of Edmonton Riverview.

I made a short blog post talking about my residence and school, the main features of my life in London, and wanted to share it with you and your club! There will definitely be more in the future - including one dedicated to Rotary in London.

This blog was initially created for a class project documenting my time as an intern at the United States' National Chimpanzee Sanctuary, but will now be chronicling my life in London and any adventures this journey might take me upon. I'll be discussing LSE, Rotary, life in London, and everything in between - so please, follow along!

I'm a 23 year old Canadian girl just starting her MSc at the London School of Economics in the beautiful UK. I'm an alumna of Edmonton's German Bilingual School System, Strathcona Composite High School, the Southern African Field School, the Peter Lougheed Leadership College, and the University of Alberta. I'm a current Rotary Global Grant Scholar from District 5370 being hosted by District 1130.

Thank you so much, and you'll be hearing from me again soon.
