February 3, 2026 Meeting Part 2.
Ramesh Ferris is the District Governor (DG) for our Rotary District, District 5370, for this Rotary year (2025–2026). Ramesh is a Canadian polio survivor, author, and global health advocate. As DG Ramesh visits each of the 60+ clubs in the District. Ramesh had done his homework when we visited our Club on February 3rd. He knew about so many of Riverview's service projects. As a polio survivor, Ramesh is passionate about the eradication of polio. That passion is something Ramesh encourages in all Rotarians. Encapsulated in one of his slides: "Rotary isn't just a club to join, but rather an invitation to endless opportunities". And these "endless possibilities" are simply initiatives and projects that individual Rotarians are passionate about and champion. Thank you Ramesh for joining us.
