November 2015

Our club flew down to Belize to upgrade a school in the town of Gales Point. Our goal was to target the poorest of the poor and help where we can.

After some initial R&R touring local museums and bumming around on the beach we got to work. For a week we painted, painted, painted with some more painting. Essentially, we painted the exterior and most of the classrooms at the school. We supplied light fixtures, ceiling fans and about 15 sewing machines where 5 our team members taught a sewing workshop in the local church. Some fun included a supper at the local drumming centre, eating local Garufina food and dancing to some hypnotic tribal rthythm.

Well done Team Riverview!
