Benveet Gill: Director -- ReYu Paralysis Recovery
From Paralysis to Inspiration

Cofounder & Executive Director -- ReYu Paralysis Recovery Centre

Bean Gill is a first generation Indo-Canadian woman born and raised in Millwoods who has faced more than her fair share of adversity. She has over 10 years experience as an X-ray technologist specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. She is also a certified makeup artist who has worked on numerous photoshoots and fashion shows.

Her life was changed forever when she was paralyzed from the waist down by an auto-immune disorder called Transverse Myelitis in July 2012. After 5 years of hard work and determination she is able to walk with a walker and has regained a lot of her strength and mobility.

Through her recovery she has found her purpose in life, to help other people retrain their nerous systems and reach their goals. Bean teamed up with her trainer Nancy Morrow and together they opened a non profit organization called ReYu Paralysis Recovery Centre
