She is also the co-founder of Taproot Edmonton, a curiosity-driven source of local information, cultivated by the community.

Elizabeth Spencer is the creator and co-host of That's a Thing?!, "a sometimes belated, already outdated guide to your teens, tweens and everything under 20." On the podcast, Elizabeth explains her media culture to her mom, Karen, who then makes connections to what she experienced when she was younger.
