Foundation Report

1. 2016-2017 The goal for the Annual Fund is $5,500.  We are currently at 58% of goal: $4,021.55

 

2. Our club matches the first $200 CAD.  You get a tax receipt for that matching $200 contribution.

 

3. Our club contributes those matching funds to 'Polio Plus'. These funds are symbolized in our certificates we give in thanks to guest speakers.  last year our club donated $2,000 to Polio Plus.

 

4. Several club members have foundation recognition points available.  These can be used to donate a Paul Harris Fellow designation to a deserving individual.  If you wish to do so and can't think of a person to recognize, the club leadership stands willing to suggest some names.  A donation of $1,000 USD translates into 1,000 foundation points.  It requires 1,000 points to award a Paul Harris Fellow. 

 

5. Donations can be made monthly.  Go online for direct donations or give a cheque to Linda made out to "Rotary Foundation- Canada" and she will forward it.
