Another great virtual meeting this week. I counted 10 members on my screen.
We did not have a speaker this week. We just talked among ourselves but we managed to make the meeting pretty informative and entertaining.
Jamie reported that he and Ken have been working on a revised scholarship criteria. He will share with the Club when it is ready.
Doug McEwan has had his first Covid shot. He reported that the shot was no big deal but the place was terribly organised. He had to wait in line for 40 minutes!
I asked our education professionals (Lorne, Jamie and Gary) their thoughts on the news we hear about NWT are going to stop using the Alberta education curriculum. Lorne shared some inside scoop. Very interesting stuff.
One of the first signs of spring is sighting motorcycles on the road. Some motorcycles were sighted last week. J.
Cindy reported that Agnes had a good week this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Agnes.
Peter Elder shared his Rotary moment with us. He recalled that, after one of our members, Mike Pawlis, passed away our club rallied to help his widow, Anna, move into her new home.
