Covid virtual meeting August 12 2020
We held a virtual meeting in lieu of our pre-covid Wednesday breakfast meeting again this week.

We talked about the Covid preparation that EPSB is making to prepare for kids back in school. These are scary times.
Judy joined our meeting from Kimberly BC. She did the typical BC thing talking about how the weather was better, the sunshine was brighter and the beer was colder in the lotus Land. But it was good to have her join us.
Doug McEwan also joined the meeting from Abbotsford BC.
We wished Deb a happy birthday. She is officially one of us! She celebrated her 65th birthday.
On the other hand, Ken will be a lot older than her this week.
President Cindy told us about her plans for meetings for the foreseeable future. We will have;
- An in person meeting at the Mckay school on the first Thursday of each month the;
- 2 zoom meetings the;
- A Pub night at Halo Pub, Renaissance Hotel on the last Thursday of the month
Deb Jack has been working hard to get Stephens Hope for Mozambique Society charity status. One of the steps in that application involves revising the bylaws of the Society. As members of the Edmonton Gateway Rotary Club you are a member of that Society. Next Thursday we will consider a resolution to amend those by laws.
