We had a good, reasonably attended, breakfast meeting on December 3.
Unfortunately we did not have a speaker so we just had a general fellowship meeting. Judy arrived before breakfast was served. She gave a great discussion on the level of morale, the quality of management and general efficiency of our City administration. Her discussion prompted a lively exchange.
Shannon reported that Dave Winfield is celebrating his 40th year in Rotary! Unfortunately Dave did not hear him as he was actively selling Shriner Christmas cakes at the time.
Judy reported that she is still looking for a few volunteers to man the Salvation Army kettles this week. If you can help please call her.
Elizabeth reminded us that;
- There is still time to get your money in for Rotary Foundation this year;
- Potluck for Polio is scheduled for January 17, 2010 (mark the date in your calendar)
Gary reported that he is collecting the gifts for Christmas hampers. If you do not have the time, or the imagination, to shop for gifts you can give him $50.00 or such amount as you can afford and he and Elizabeth will purchase gifts for you;
For those of you who could not make it to our “no meeting meeting” at the IHOP on Wednesday November 27. You missed a great meeting. I have attached a picture of all the members who joined me that morning for fellowship and pancakes.
