Our speaker this week was our own Debra Jack
Deb presented her classification speech.
Deb talked about how she grew up in Edmonton and she became a lawyer because someone told her that women could not be lawyers!
Deb received her law degree in Edmonton and articled in Calgary. She practiced in Calgary for a few years before she married and retired from the profession.
They lived in 3 countries and 11 different cities 30 years finally ending up back home in Edmonton.
In addition to her activities with Rotary Deb is actively involved in various charities around town.
