Kendra Kincade is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Elevate Aviation
Elevate came from her passion for philanthropy and her desire to help women become strong, independent, and self-sustainable.
Kendra has been an Air Traffic Controller for 16 years at the Edmonton Area Control Center. During this time, she has noticed the lack of female presence in the industry, which spurred the formation of Elevate.
In addition, Kendra enjoys spending time with her spouse Corey, her 4 children and her grandson. She enjoys traveling, biking and fitness. Kendra is also the founder of another non-profit organization, called Changing Stories, and is involved in a number of local activities including the Welcome Home Program and being a volunteer producer for Shaw TV.
As the latest Global Woman of Vision recipient, Kendra is inspired to continue her vision of empowering women and changing the statistics in the aviation industry.

What We Do
Elevate Aviation is on a mission to introduce more people to the wonderful careers available in the aviation industry.
Mentorship Program
We connect motivated individuals who are starting their careers in aviation with successful women in the chosen field. We believe that to ensure success, you should have the support and guidance of someone who has been there and understands what you will be going through. Mentoring is a proven approach to drive rich learning and development that will enable you to achieve desired success.
Our mentor's offer guidance and advice to women who are interested in any career in the aviation industry. The mentor is there to prepare you and support you through every step of the way from application right through until you're gainfully employed in the job of your dreams.
Bursary Program
Women who show exceptional potential but who are unable, because of financial or other reasons, to support themselves through the training process can apply to the following bursary programs:
Air Traffic Services Program
The Air Traffic Services program is open to women residing in Canada who wish to pursue careers as Tower Air Traffic Controllers, Area Air Traffic Controllers, Flight Service Specialists.
This program is customized on an individual basis.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Program
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Program is open to women residing in Canada who have been accepted and enrolled into an accredited AME training program.
A bursary in the amount of up to $500 will be awarded to successful applicants.

Elevate Yourself into the World of Aviation
This is an opportunity to discover the world of aviation in a behind the scenes look hosted by women in the industry.
- Hear amazing stories and ask questions to pilots, air traffic controllers, airside operations staff and flight attendants
- Enjoy a complimentary lunch
- Tour various airport facilities including the Air Traffic Control Tower, Nav Canada Area Control Centre, Aircraft Hangar and more
Speakers
One of our greatest passions is spreading the word about our careers to new people and encouraging women to follow their dreams, whether it is a career in aviation or not, and become self-sustainable living the life they imaged.
We offer different arrangements of speakers for any event: career fair, conferences, retreats, school events, etc.
