President Elisabeth reported that our memmbers stepped up and manned the Casino last week. We had a full complement of volunteers. Thank you to everyone, and their friends and family, who showed up and helped out. Elisabeth reported that the Casino was busy. We expect a reasonable return.
Our mayoralty candidate this week was Diana Steele. Diana is a rookie municipal politician with some interesting thoughts and plans. If you missed her presentation you can check out her website at

The Club also met with mayoralty candidate Amarjit Sohi. Unfortunately I was unable to attend so I do not have a report. You can visit his website:

We also had a good discussion about the difficulty of identifying and selecting candidates for school board. Thanks to Lorne and Jamie fior their interesting and thought provoking and interesting input.
