Overheard at Breakfast on December 11, 2019
- Our fines master, Lionell Usunier, held a new Year’s trivia quiz. It is amazing how much useless information there is in this world.
- Judy Wilson arrived before our meeting started for the second week in a row!
- Brian Liddell invited everyone to his office’ open house on Thursday. Than You to everyone who showed up.
- Judy gave a report on our Salvation Army kettle drive participation and reported that the Salvation Army is very appreciative of or efforts.
- Gary Smith thanked everyone for their contributions towards the Christmas hampers, He and Elizabeth planned to organise and sort the gifts and prepare them for delivery that afternoon. Pictures below.
- Several of our members are also volunteer guides for the Anne frank exhibit at the Mckay school. They shared some heartwarming stories of their experiences.
- We are planning a couple road trips this January
- On the 17th Potluck for Polio
- On the 22nd we will be at McKay school
- On the 29th we will be at the Center for Autism
- Our scheduled speaker did not show so Trevor Mowbery gave us a Classification presentation. Trevor
- He said this was his 4th Rotary Classification presentation and his second to this Club!
- Trevor is the son of our alumnus member Terry Mowbery
- He has 2 sons
- He was married last year in Vegas
- His roots go way back with our Club. He was a member when;
- We built the Millwoods water park, and;
- We built Rotary house at the Millwoods Hospital
- Trevor is currently with Willow Glen Systems. His company designs, build and installs data control systems.
