Our meeting on May 15th was so poorly attended that our scheduled speaker, Peter Elder, declined to speak and offered to come back when there are more people to attend.
It was unfortunate that we had so few people. The Hotel served a new breakfast! We had a quiche!
We did not have a regular meeting but we had a very busy week;
- The robust reds Committee met on Tuesday
- Some of our members met for breakfast at the Ihop on Wednesday and;
- The board meeting was held on Thursday
Our Club sponsors the Youth Orchestra of Northern Alberta (Yona). Lorne has forwarded us an invitation to attend their “Road to Joy” Fundraising Concert with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday June 11 at 7:30 pm.
