Our Speakers this week were Shannon and Patricia from AdaptAbilities.
Shannon and Patricia came prepared to show us a video and give a presentation about their organisation, the services it offers and it’s impact on the community.
Unfortunately we did not have the technical support equipment they required (an extension cord).They agreed to reschedule their visit to a time when we will have a larger attendance and an extension cord.
Pat and Shannon told us;
- Their organisation is large. It has over 120 staff plus summer staff;
- They offer respite for children and adults with developmental disabilities
- They provide summer camps for children with developmental disabilities
