Overheard at Breakfast on June 13, 2018
We had a great turnout this week. I think we had a guest at every table including 3 representatives from the U of A Rotaract Club and Kim Quibell founder of YEGtweetup  who was one of the participants in our Porcelain Prison fundraiser.
  1. Pat gave us a brief update on Robust Reds planning;

  2. The date for our 3rd annual golf tourney has been rescheduled to Wednesday August 8, 2018. We will not have a meeting that morning. Instead we will meet for 9 holes of golf at the Pinecrest golf Club then adjourn to Dave Douglas’ cabin at Seba Beach for a barbecue. More details to follow.
  3. Doug McEwan invited the Club and members to join him in sponsoring and manning the barbecue for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Northern Alberta’s annual Hope Classic fundraiser. It is my understanding that that event will be Saturday August 11.  http://www.sbhana.org/events/hope-classic/ . Doug has promised to forward more information. This is a great cause and we sponsored this organisation fairly significantly in the past. I strongly encourage members to get involved.
