Our guest speaker this week was Svetlana Pavlenko
Svetlana is the executive officer for the Jewish Senior Citizens Center.
Svetlana talked about the Senior Citizen Centers in Edmonton and the recreation, education and fellowship opportunities that they offer to their members. (persons over 55 years of age are eligible for membership).
In particular Svetlana talked about the services and opportunities that her Center offers including ;
- Interesting and informative speakers;
- Daily luncheons;
- Transportation;
- Outings;
- Workshops
- Cultural diversity
- Social events
And even a cook book.
