Overheard at Breakfast on May 9, 2018
- We will be presenting the first instalment of our support for the Jasper Place Wellness Center at next week’s meeting will be held at the JP Wellness center. Murray Soroka and one of his staff members will attend to accept our donation.
- Dave Dorcus reported that the social committee is planning another fun day of golf. Stay tuned for more information
- We will not have an evening meeting this week.
- Mark is still looking for count room volunteers for out May 21/May 22 casino. Please contact him if you can help.
- Lorne Parker was back from his visit to our school in Xia Xia Mozambique. He had lots of good information and stories to share. He will make a more formal presentation to the Club in the near future.
- Lorne did report that the school is so successful they need to build a high school!
- Elisabeth invited all members to join her with the Edmonton Community Foundation appreciation night at the Zoo on May 17th;
- The joint board meeting for the incoming and outgoing boards will be held June 4th.
